Goran Zlodi

Goran Zlodi is Assistant Professor and Chair of Museology on Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb, where he teaches the following courses: Museum documentation, Information technology for archaeologists, Metadata for resource management and Virtual Museum.

He is currently involved in the projects Virtual Multimodal Museum (http://www.vi-mm.eu/) and InterPARES Trust – Trust and Digital Records in an Increasingly Networked Society (https://interparestrust.org/).

Previously worked on research and development projects Preservation and Communication of Cultural Heritage (1999-2003), TEMPUS Joint European Project – Aspects of Organization and Information Systems: Curriculum Development (CD_JEP-16086-2001), CRAFTATTRACT – Old Crafts – New Attractions for Cultural Tourism (2006-2008), Heritage Users Research (2007-2013).

His research interests include metadata, interoperability, museum documentation, controlled vocabularies, folksonomies and social indexing, crowdsourcing digital cultural heritage and virtual museums.
