The DARIAH VCC2 Working Group Community Engagement invites Early Stage Researchers (ESR) to apply for a travel bursary to participate at the roundtable “Engaging with Digital Research Infrastructures: Opening doors for Geohumanities”, organised by the Working Group in the context of the BALTEHUMS Conference.
BALTEHUMS is the first Baltic Conference on the Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences to be held in Riga, Latvia on October 8-9, 2018. The roundtable aims to demonstrate how digital research infrastructures can offer collaboration, shared resources, networking, tools, services and training within digital humanities to the Environmental Humanities research themes, while also discussing and documenting the research practices and needs of this particular research community in the Baltic Region.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute in organising and disseminating the roundtable and also to assist with the capture of information, take extensive notes and form them into a cohesive structure under the supervision and guidance of the wider Working Group members.
The travel bursary of €500 is expected to cover return flights and accommodation for the ESR (amount is negotiable depending on actual travel costs).
