After taking over as chairs of Community Engagement WG with fresh ideas, aims and activities for the working group, our main goal was to work closely with the wider DARIAH community. We concentrated our efforts on contacting national DARIAH coordinators, trying to learn more about needs and demands in terms of Community Engagement and offering our help in promoting their country’s research.
Unfortunately, the response was rather sobering, but we are not giving up! We will continue reaching out to them and, hopefully, we can feature each country in a brief research profile, promote researchers and give insight into selected inspiring DH projects in our new spotlight series.
We already have some exciting ideas for content, but we don’t want to forget to ask you – the community – what your wishes and needs are. What do you expect of our working group? How can we help with your endeavors? Do you know any projects that you would like to see featured in a spotlight series? Do you have any questions for us?
